Come November and December, it can be a tough time to keep students (and yourself!) motivated in the run up to the holiday season. If you want some fun and quality Christmas and New Year activities to use with your tutor groups that they will enjoy and relate to, then this is the resource for you! It comes with attractive, enjoyable and creative activities that will last weeks running up to the Christmas holidays and even when they return in the New Year too!
This resource will encourage students to look at Christmas over the world, show kindness, reflect on the end of one year and start of another.
These can be used for a variety of age groups and abilities and require no preparation from you at all. Instructions are on each worksheet and students can be as thorough as they like depending on their ability.
These are fun to do and they make wonderful keepsakes for students to look back on when they are older!
Are you fed up with those scrappy sheets of paper stuck on your door to inform students of important notes such as when you have moved rooms or if there is a test going on?
Well look no further, these quality door signs will look fabulous all year round and will save paper too!
These are really unique as depending on where you work, you might have to share your classroom, so these door signs are not only gorgeous, but can adapted for ANY teacher and room! Simply laminate or put into a plastic sleeve, pop on your door then write straight on the plastic with a white board pen. These signs have space to write the teacher name, date, lesson and where the class needs to go to. Each type of sign comes in 3 different and quality styles.
There are also a set of testing signs as well, so passers by know to keep the noise down! So much better than those scribbled notes and much more environmentally friendly too!

They are encouraged to reflect on why they think these laws came to pass in the first place as the answers are NOT included! I did try and find the origins but some are just a mystery it seems! Some are so bizarre, it is bound to stir up some creative writing and class discussions!
This resource includes over 40 different laughable laws and can be shown on the whiteboard, enough for one a week (Weird Wednesdays, maybe?!) for a whole school year!

The idea is really simple to implement: when you see your students demonstrating a particular growth mindset skill (there are 40 to choose from in this set!) you can award them this desk tent for them to proudly display on their desk while they work!
This method is highly motivating and encouraging for your students to do their best. As they are growth mindset themed, they are effective at boosting your students’ confidence and self-esteem.
